Personal and Professional Background

  • Dr. Heath Lisenby has been married to his wife for 19 years and they have a son and a daughter. He and his family have lived in Fort Wayne, Indiana, for over 16 years. His favorite thing in the world is spending time with his family. Heath enjoys relaxing with his wife, outdoor adventures with his kids, training their family dog Rascal, and finding time for some quiet reading. In terms of church life, Heath is a member of a Bible-believing church and he serves in pastoral ministry there. Heath loves to teach, disciple, and counsel others to help them grow in Christ and to experience hope, healing, and maturity in all areas of life.

  • Dr. Lisenby earned his Doctor of Ministry in Marriage and Family Counseling from Denver Seminary (2015), his Master of Arts in Counseling from Denver Seminary (2001), and his Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Palm Beach Atlantic University (1996). His counseling experience includes: marriage and family therapy; mental health counseling for individuals, families, and groups; pastoral/ministry families; intensive counseling for marriages and families; geriatric counseling; emergency/crisis intervention; child and adolescent therapist; and Corporate Chaplaincy/EAP services.
